THE ROYAL AMBASSADOR MISSION

Teaching tomorrow's Baptist leaders to be "Ambassadors for Christ."

Royal Ambassadors helps to reach boys (grades 1-6) for Christ by teaching them about Baptist missions and emphasizing missions activities and Scripture memorization. The purpose of Royal Ambassadors is to involve boys in missions. Involvement in missions includes living one’s faith daily, having personal experience in witness and ministry, and giving and praying to support other persons involved in missions.

The foundation for any RA program is its leaders. Having committed, caring, and responsible leaders is vital to the success of the program. Children will only be as excited about missions education as the leaders who guide them. It is important that a love for missions – and children – be apparent through the leaders of your RA program.

RA DIVISIONS

RA’s is divided into Lads (grades 1-3) and Crusaders (grades 4-6). Committed Christian men - called RA Ministry Leaders - lead boys in activities that enhance their spiritual, emotional, physical, mental, and social well-being. These activities include weekly chapter meetings, where boys learn about home and international missionaries, and local and national missions projects.

Boys use Personal Growth Plan books to mark their progress on projects and earn awards for successful completion of each virtue listed in the Personal Growth Plan book.

The North American Mission Board provides materials to guide Counselors in conducting missions activities and events, as well as leading weekly chapter meetings. Leader training is available through your associational or state Men’s Ministries.
