"About Us"

Often times, as adults, we long for the days of our youth.  Our opportunities for gathering, service, and fellowship seem to lessen.

WHY???

VISION was born out of the realization that Christ's call on our lives and service to Him, should increase with each passing day, not decrease because of the world's standards.

Romans 12:2  Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

At VISION, we are in a lifelong process of the transforming and the renewing of our minds. VISION believes that the transfer into adult life brings with it many doors of opportunity that with faith in God, we can walk thru boldly and with confidence!

VISION has a strong belief in missions.

-We serve at our local homeless shelter monthly

-We have outreach projects planned

-We have an exciting summer mission project planned for the Gaston County area.

VISION has a strong belief in Christ centered fellowship.  We believe that our friendships are the necessary glue to help our class succeed.

The second Sunday night of each month is V.A.C. ( VISION After Church ). This is a time of fellowship after our regular Sunday night services.

-We go to the movies.

-We have lock-ins (that's right, lock-ins!!)

VISION has a strong belief in "The Word of God". Our class meets for Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday morning to hear from God.  We have a purpose; It's to grow in God's love through the study of the Bible.
